HIVE’s One-on-One Series - Get to know a Hive Advisor: Susan Diano!

We spoke with Susan Diano, a Hive Advisor working relentlessly behind the scenes making sure our client deliverables are at their best.  We had the pleasure of learning about her career journey and her insights.

Tell us about your expertise?

I have over 18 years of expertise in transforming organizations through innovative solutions, enabling technologies, and process optimization, I have had the privilege of helping clients achieve exceptional business outcomes across various industries and corporate cultures.  My career in management consulting began at Deloitte Consulting from 1998 to 2006 and continued at Ernst & Young, where I worked from 2009 to 2017. During these years, I honed my experience in finance and business transformation with a focus on target operating model development, systems implementation, and continuous improvement. Between these two roles, I had the opportunity to join RBC in their internal consulting practice, where I specialized in process improvement across various functions including insurance, AML and Finance.

How do you typically enjoy contributing to a team?

As a trusted team-builder and change manager, I am dedicated to coaching high-performing teams and managing corporate functions to ensure the delivery of quality and an exceptional client experience.

What’s your superpower?

Always learning. 

What would you do if you were invisible for a day? 

I would sneak into the Vatican library and look at all the old books and artwork that aren’t available to the public.   

What’s your personal mantra? 

The most courageous act is to think for yourself aloud.

HIVE, in support of the people of Ukraine and HIVE’s strategic partner, Hebron

Hive Advisory Inc. (HIVE) is shocked and appalled by the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Ukraine, moreover that this crisis has directly affected one of our strategic partners - both the orphans who make part of Hebron’s IT Academy (“Hebron”) and the great people at HebronSoft LLC (“HebronSoft”).

In the summer of 2019, Hive Advisory Inc. (HIVE) entered into a strategic partnership with HebronSoft (“HebronSoft”), bringing elite software development capabilities to HIVE with a social responsibility mandate. 

HIVE has been in contact with Hebron’s and HebronSoft’s chairwoman and founder, Liliya, who is today directly assisting Ukrainian women and children to flee conflict areas by transporting them to safety in neighboring countries(i.e., Poland and Hungary). Liliya and her team are acquiring transport (i.e., vans, buses, etc.) as well as purchasing and transporting both people and essential items such as camping gear (e.g., sleeping bags, gas burning stoves, first aid kits, winter coats, generators, thermoses, etc.) between country borders.

Please note that the Paypal is for Hebron and their IT Academy, but funds are being temporarily used by Liliya for humanitarian aid.

HebronSoft is an information technology social enterprise in Lviv, Ukraine. The company not only helps businesses solve their technology problems, but also helps those who are less privileged.
