HIVE's summary of NEO's newly released G-Corp!

In April of 2021, the NEO Exchange (“NEO”), one of HIVE’s Strategic Partners, announced a pilot program launch of a new publicly traded acquisition corporation, the Growth Acquisition Corporation (“G-Corp”). According to the NEO, “this new go-public vehicle enables earlier stage growth companies to access capital and go public with significantly reduced risks in comparison with other public listing strategies”.

The G-Corp hopes to address a gap in the capital markets for acquisition corporations. While venture exchanges currently offer go-public shells tailored for junior companies, and SPACs are typically geared towards large growth companies, the G-Corp addresses the needs of earlier stage companies that aspire to list on a Tier 1 stock exchange.

Through leveraging the existing structure of the NEO’s successful SPAC program, the G-Corp hopes to ensure a rigorous review process and investor protection for quality transaction. The G-Corp plans to offer an opportunity for high-potential growth companies to access public capital as well as facilitate transactions between such companies and investors.

HIVE & Technology: A Regulatory Framework for Crytpo Trading Platforms

Hive Advisory Inc. (HIVE) and the HIVE Network are following closely the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) and Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) recent announcement and published notices that outline securities law requirements that will apply to crypto asset trading platforms.

According to the CSA and IIROC the notices provide gudiance on what is required for a cyrpto asset trading platform to comply with securities legistlation and bring their operations into compliance. Moreover, that the developed framework will provide guidance on how a crypto trading platform’s regulatory requirements can be tailored to it’s business, without compromising investor protection or market integrity.

The notices by CSA and IIROC, namely CSA Notice 21-327 Guidance on the Aplication of Securities Legislation to Entities Faciliting the Trading of Crypto Assets; and Joint CSA and IIROC Notice 21-329 Guidance for Crytpo Asset Trading Platforms: Compliance with Regulatory Requirements can be found within the CSA’s recent publications published uner the CSA regulatory Sandbox Committee.

HIVE also plans to attend various sessions during the PDAC mining convention of 2021. The annual PDAC 2021 Convention - “the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining event” - will be held virtually from Monday, March 8 th until Thursday, March 11th, 2021.

Although HIVE does possess a physical office in Toronto, Canada, which has been closed since March 17th, 2020, HIVE has always operated as a virtual firm and will continue to provide the best customer service that HIVE Clients have been accustomed to receiving.

The Dark Web is a hidden universe contained within the Deep Web - a sub- layer of the internet that is hidden from conventional search engines. Today, the Dark Web is estimated at 550 times larger than the surface Web and growing!

The Dark Web holds a wealth of stolen data and illegal activity. Digital credentials that connect you, your employees, third party service providers and partners to critical business applications, as well as online services, are being compromised. Entities exist in different parts of the world that collect data without anyone being aware through bots, spiders, phishing attacks, social media applications, etc. Many of whom are not collecting the data with the intent of a malicious activity, rather, to sell this data to someone who may have a malicious intent.
